  For individuals:

Continuing Studies Bursary

Each term the Division of Continuing Studies offers bursaries totalling CAD $1,000 to assist learners in furthering their education. Bursaries will be awarded to learners who can display evidence of a commitment to lifelong learning and who can demonstrate financial need.

You can obtain a bursary application by calling 250-472-4747, or by downloading a PDF application form. Once completed, you can email your application to uvcsreg@uvic.ca.

The application deadlines are:

  • Aug. 31 for September term
  • Jan. 15 for January term

Bursaries cannot be granted before these dates, since a selection committee must consider each application.

Microsoft certification training

Free certification training is offered to empower Canadians for the jobs of tomorrow through practical skills certification training. This program is made possible in cooperation with RBC’s Future Launch and Microsoft Canada’s Coast-to-Coast initiatives.

BC Employer Training Grant Program

This employer-led, cost-sharing program is designed to assist employers in providing skills training to new or current employees that will develop skills and certification, upgrade skills and help them adapt to the changing requirements of jobs and the labour market.
