The Continuing Studies Building (CST) contains the Division of Continuing Studies and the English Language Centre. It is located at the corner of Ring and Gabriola Roads. The University of Victoria is easy to get to and easy to get around. Connected to downtown Victoria by several major bus and bicycle routes, the campus offers ample parking and an accessible and pedestrian-friendly environment.
Cycling
UVic is a bike friendly campus. The university is committed to creating a campus environment that is convenient and safe for cyclists. With our award winning Campus Cycling Plan, UVic is dedicated to being a leader in cycling infrastructure and active transportation.

Buses
UVic is home to a central transit exchange, located between the bookstore and Student Union Building on Finnerty Road, and many bus routes begin or end at the university.
Buses run 365 days a year, typically from 6 a.m. to midnight. Up-to-date information on all bus routes can be found at bctransit.com, the Transit App or using Google Maps.

Parking
Beginning in fall 2026, UVic parking is moving to a fully cashless payment system. Visitors parking at UVic can pay in one of two ways:
Option 1: Use the HONK Mobile App (Download for iPhone | Download for Android)
Pay for parking directly from your smartphone.
- Download and open the HONK app
- Select your parking lot.
- Choose the amount of parking time you need
- Complete your payment
Flex 25 parking passes are available through HONK, but weekly parking passes are not.
Option 2: Pay at a Parking Dispenser
Parking dispensers remain available in every parking lot.
- Pay using a tap-enabled credit or debit card.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase
Weekly parking passes are available from dispensers, but Flex 25 passes are not.

John Horgan Campus (in Langford)
Parking will be free of charge from July 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026 on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no overnight parking (11 pm to 6 am)
Accessible Parking
There are five accessible parking spaces and one accessible charging station along the north corridor. Please display a valid permit and ensure you're in a designated parking space.
EV Charging
There are three public and one accessible EV charging stations in the north corridor. Access to the north corridor is off Peatt Road. Charging is limited to four hours. Please move your vehicle once charged.
