In this course, we’ll explore the complexity of the teaching/learning process in the education of adults and identify and define the assumptions, values and beliefs that underlie your decisions as a facilitator. We’ll also analyze the application and implications of educational principles in the design, delivery and evaluation of adult learning.
Evaluate and integrate key philosophies, theories and concepts in the development and facilitation of adult learning.
Draw on adult learning theory, knowledge of learners' cultures and other theoretical frameworks to set a climate and create an environment conducive to learning.

This course may be available online. Students login to the course and communicate with the instructor and fellow students via the Internet. All assignments and course activities are submitted electronically to the course instructor.

If you are planning on accessing your online courses using a mobile device such as a tablet or a smartphone, please note that not all required course features will be accessible with these devices. Online course withdrawal/refund policy:
CACE course registrants will receive a full refund up to the course start date. From the course start date to six calendar days into the course, students who withdraw will receive a refund less the $50 administrative fee. Students who withdraw seven or more calendar days after the course start date will receive no refund.
Face-to-face course and workshop withdrawal/refund policy:
CACE students must pay an administrative fee of $50 if they withdraw from a course/workshop before the registration deadline. Students who withdraw after this date will not receive any refund.
