Program description

The CBA–Fast Track program gives you the business skills you need to get out into the field as soon as possible. Earn valuable business knowledge, management skills, real-world practical experience and a Certificate in Business Administration in just 12 weeks.

A case-based, international learning environment provides the support and practice in which to apply your knowledge and experience, while the intensive format of the Fast Track program ensures that your career isn’t interrupted for long periods of time.

Classes during the 12 weeks run Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4:30 pm.

To qualify for the Certificate in Business Administration, you must successfully complete eight courses. In the Fast Track program, these courses are made up of a standard curriculum of core business courses. When you register for the program, you are automatically enrolled in the set combination of courses.

Application information

Admission requirements

Due to the intensive nature of the Fast Track program, two years post-secondary education or a minimum five years of work experience is required.

If your first language is not English, you will be asked to provide evidence of fluency through the submission of an IELTS (Academic) score of minimum 6.0 (with no component less than 5.5), TOEFL score of 550 (79 Internet Based TOEFL), completion of the UVic English Language Centre's ELPI 570 level, or equivalent level through one of our English pathway partners.
