Course description
Explore the critical features of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their global significance. Through engaged teaching methods, you will learn to effectively convey the importance of SDGs, while fostering awareness and commitment. The trans-disciplinary nature of research is emphasized within the SDG framework, encouraging educators to collaborate across fields, and delving into contextually actionable research partnerships that empower higher education institutions to drive real-world impact by aligning with SDGs.

- Name three critical features of SDGs
- Explain ways to apply SDGs to engaged teaching
- Elaborate on specific examples of the transdisciplinarity of research in SDGs
- Explain ways to make research partnerships contextually actionable
Certificate of Completion
This course can be taken either as a stand-alone learning opportunity or combined to receive a Knowledge Democracy in Higher Education Certificate of Completion. Each individual course in the series costs $150. However, learners committed to completing all five courses can take advantage of our discounted rate, which is applied to the final course in the series (KDHE150). Instead of paying $750 for all five modules, learners will pay $675.
