Application information

Admission requirements

Students in these courses are expected to have obtained graduation from secondary school. Mature applicants who do not meet this requirement may also register on the basis of minimum five years' work experience.

Business and Management courses and programs require the following English proficiency levels:

  • IELTS (academic) 6.0 overall (no sub-score less than 5.5)
  • TOEFL PBT 550
  • TOEFL IBT 79-80 (no sub-score less than 17)
  • UVic ELC level ELPI 570
  • UVic ELC English Proficiency Test: B2+ or higher
  • Approved English partner pathway level (contact our office for details)

How to apply

No application is necessary, simply select any of the three courses required for the professional development certificate and register for them independently. When registering, you will have the option to purchase the PDC in Business Communication Program Fee at an additional cost of $20. You are only required to select this when registering for one of the three courses. 

Once you have completed your third course, your certificate will be automatically issued and sent to you. Certificates will be sent approximately one month after the completion of your third course.
