Course description

This course will provide a brief historical review of psychedelics, with a focus on traditional Indigenous uses and Western research over the past 150 years.

You will explore the biological and psychological impacts of various psychedelic substances and review the most recent science exploring the potential personal and public health benefits and harms of psychedelics.

Course material will include academic articles, podcasts and videos exploring the intersection of psychedelic substances, science and society.
