High-Risk Foot, Level II
COURSE
Course description
This workshop extends your knowledge and skills in assessing and managing more complex conditions of the high-risk foot. Topics include:
- Diabetic foot
- Charcot foot
- Neuropathy
- Assessment skills (including toe-brachial pressure index, monofilament)
- Management of complex diseases and wounds of the lower limb
Designed for foot care nurses, community nurses, RNs and LPNs in other areas of practice, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and others who care for clients with complex high-risk foot conditions. Learn in collaboration with an expert instructor and your peers through slide presentations, videos, preparatory readings, in-class case studies, and resources for further developing hands-on assessment and management skills. The workshop includes time for questions and discussion.

Prerequisites
Completion of High-Risk Foot, Level I is recommended but is not required if you have experience with venous, arterial and mixed etiologies of diseases of the lower limb.
