What made your ELC program special?

Meeting new people, and the fun activities we did to improve our English level in a new and beautiful country.

If you could travel back in time, what part of your ELC experience would you re-visit? Why?

The trips we did to different places in Victoria, the different ways to learn.

What is the most memorable thing that happened to you as an ELC student?

Meeting people from different cultures, to communicate with them and make friends is the most memorable thing that happened to me as an ELC student.

Do you have any favourite memories of Canadian culture?

Kind people and the organization of the city/country.

How did learning with other students from other cultures change how you see the world?

Understanding we have different lifestyles and values.

Did studying English with us open any new opportunities for you?

Yes, I think learning new languages always opens new opportunities in our lives.

Is there anything else you would like to say about the ELC, UVic, or Victoria?

I would like to go back and I will someday. It is a dream! For me it was one of the greatest experiences in my life.

Best advice for new students?

To enjoy every single moment of the experience in that great city and country.
