Course description

This fun and interactive course is a continuation of Korean - Level 1. It is designed for people with some written and oral communication skills in the Korean language. Expand your fluency for communicating in Korean  in daily life. Learn how to set up your own appointments, ask for and follow directions, and make a phone call in Korean. We will also explore, and gain an appreciation for Korean modern pop culture.

Learning objectives

At the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • ask and answer questions about daily life related to places, times, and food
  • express what you like and dislike with reasons
  • talk about daily and weekly schedule
  • make suggestions and appointments
  • use past form of verbs
  • ask and answer questions about places
  • ask for and give directions
  • make a phone call
  • make requests
  • use progressive form of verbs

We encourage students to participate in our language courses more than one time in order to truly learn the material taught over 10 lessons. It also gives you additional exposure to varying activities within each topic.

World Language courses are offered three times per year:
