Summer Arts Series

Course Series

Our Summer Arts Series is back in July of 2024, with workshops and lectures centred around the theme of art and the urban landscape, appropriate for learners of all backgrounds. Learn from experts how art transforms our experience of the world and the way we engage with one another. Workshops include drawing in the urban landscape, soundscape appreciation and creation, and urban spaces in place-based fiction. A Victorian Medievalism walking tour will also be available to take part in. All instructors are UVic alumni.

The Summer Arts Series is offered by the Division of Continuing Studies, in partnership with the Faculty of Fine Arts and Alumni Relations at the University of Victoria.
