Course description

This three-day intensive creative writing course focuses on writing and publishing early chapter books, middle grade novels and young adult novels. Through writing exercises and discussions, you will draw on your own experiences and imaginations to find new story ideas, create compelling characters, and write powerful and engaging stories for young readers. The course will include lecture, discussion, in class writing exercises, as well as an opportunity to get feedback on your first chapter.
