Course description

Join Andy MacKinnon and Kem Luther for an exploration of mushrooms found locally in the Greater Victoria Area. An evening presentation on wild mushrooms, fungus groups, and identification will be followed by a full day in the field and classroom collecting, sorting, and identifying. Kem and Andy are cofounders of the Metchosin Biodiversity Project. They are both enthusiastic participants, speakers, and field trip leaders for various mushroom festivals in southwestern BC each autumn. There are three offerings of the same 2-day course, two in October and one in November.
