This course will develop an understanding of different service models and key job skills, such as setting up a cloud environment and constructing and employing a solution in the cloud.

  • Competitive Sustainable Advantage Strategies

    Being able to stay ahead of the competition is critical in today's fast-paced and ever-changing global marketplace. Build upon your management team's ability to plan and execute competitive market-driven strategies successfully.

  • Computer Programming

    Enhance the abilities of your team with coding concepts and languages. Customized programs are available to meet any skill and proficiency level.

  • Cross-cultural Management

    In a global environment, organizations need to be able to work—both face to face and virtually—with people of different nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds. Help your management team understand the nuances of working with cross-cultural teams or international clientele to foster cohesiveness and improve performance.

  • Custom Training English for Industry groups

    This customized training will help your employees improve their English language skills for use in the workplace. We have offered English for specific purposes to international groups of teachers, police, accountants, border guards, and other groups.

  • Early Childhood Education (ECE)

    Enhance your team’s ability to provide effective instruction to early learners with this introduction to foundational knowledge of ECE in Canada. Programming includes experiential learning opportunities such as visits to early childhood education centres, kindergarten visits, and interactive workshops.

  • Ecological Restoration

    Customized training in the area of ecological restoration uses a holistic approach for professionals working in the field of landscape architecture, design, management, agrology, biology, forestry, mining, etc., who are needing advanced training in restoring disturbed and degraded ecosystems.

  • Educational Leadership

    Through interactive courses, observations, and discussions, participating education professionals and/or administrators will develop leadership skills needed to build supportive and collaborative learning environments and respond to changing global needs in education.

  • English+ Content (e.g. Engineering, Health, Data Analytics, etc.)

    The English Language Centre is able to partner with various faculties and departments within the university to offer content classes in conjunction with English language courses to improve learners’ English proficiency.

  • English+ Communications for Professionals

    Improve your employees’ public speaking and presentation skills. This program is designed for professionals for whom English is not their first language, but who need to give presentations in English.

  • English+ Project-based Presentations

    Enhance your team’s English skills while learning about the community through project-based learning. Projects will be selected according to the learners’ or organization’s area of interest.

  • English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI)

    English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) programs are designed for professors and researchers hoping to teach their subject matter in English. These programs offer a stimulating, interactive teaching and learning environment in which education professionals will receive teacher training and professional development in various skill areas and pedagogies.

  • English and Leadership / English and Innovation

    This course is designed to develop participants’ overall English language proficiency with a special focus on innovation and leadership. Using a project-based approach, the program provides opportunities to practice English through a variety of stimulating team-based activities. Participants will also visit local innovative businesses to experience entrepreneurial companies in Victoria.

  • English for Academic Preparation

    The English Language Centre is able to provide customized academic preparation training for undergraduate and graduate student success, academic writing, presentations, dissertation writing, research, IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, and other academic skills.

  • English for the Workplace

    Improve your employees' English language skills while they refine their presentation skills, research skills, English for specific purposes, report writing, and more. Please contact us to discuss the English language needs of your organization.

  • Environmental and Occupational Health

    For professionals who identify health risks, prevent accidents, and maintain safety regulations in the workplace, we can design a customized program to develop skills in areas such as health and safety program management, emergency management, environmental protection, ergonomics, hazardous waste management, and occupational hygiene.

  • Foundations of Business English

    In these Business workshops, you will build confidence in using your English skills in a professional setting. The program can be tailored to various levels of English proficiency and business focused interests. Observations and opportunities to engage with professionals in the field. can also be arranged. Company visits can also be arranged.

  • Leadership Skills

    Empower your team with tangible leadership skills that will prepare them for career growth within your organization and strengthen your overall team cohesion. Our approach features effective, real-world strategies that will leverage your team's strengths and improve upon areas of weakness through techniques such as mentoring and coaching or, when necessary, corrective or disciplinary actions.

  • Mindfulness and Health Care

    Mindfulness practice can help improve a patient's experience of receiving health care, complementing conventional medical tests and treatments. Mindfulness practice can also assist health professionals in increasing their personal well-being, avoid burnout, and support their capacity to engage with patients and colleagues.

  • Neonatal Care

    Care of vulnerable ill or pre-term neonates demands highly specialized skills and technologies integrated into a continuum of care after discharge. Customized offerings can cover clinical topics such as neonatal intensive care technologies, kangaroo care, early breastfeeding support, and neonatal abstinence, as well as management issues including quality assurance, data collection and benchmarking, and outcomes monitoring.

  • Nursing Leadership

    The nursing profession plays an important leadership role in health care, bringing its unique professional lens to patient care and the management of health services. Training will be tailored for your specific needs and can cover areas such as advanced nursing education, nursing career development, clinical governance in nursing, nursing care policy, and interprofessional training and practice.

  • Online Pedagogy and Internationalization

    The Online Pedagogy and Internationalization program empowers educators with the knowledge and tools they need to quickly convert face-to-face content to an effective online course that not only meets the needs of existing students, but opens up a world of opportunity to bring that content to a broader global audience.

  • Palliative Care Nursing

    Expand on the principles of palliative care with skills and tools to optimize the use of medications for symptom management and pain relief for palliative patients. With this expertise, pharmacists are able to guide other members of the interprofessional team in palliative care planning.

  • Visitor and Community Engagement

    Palliative Care Pharmacy

  • Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)

    TEFL programs offers a stimulating, interactive teaching and learning environment in which international teachers and/or graduate students can build a professional network and develop their ability to communicate and teach more effectively in English in their home country.

  • Teacher Professional Development (K-12)

    Our education experts offer the latest in pedagogical research and instructional tools and strategies to further empower K-12 educators in meeting the needs of their students. Topics are highly customizable and relevant to what they are dealing with in their classrooms every day.

  • Technical and computer training

    Offices have moved beyond word processing and filing to require a much more complex and sophisticated skill set. Topics include: software and database management to data analytics skills, cloud-based applications, digital communication and more.

  • Wound Management for Health Professionals

    The impact of wounds on the health care system in terms of human suffering and economic burden is enormous and grows as populations age. This customizable option for health professionals will cover the principles of wound management and develop the skills to deliver evidence-based wound assessment and care, including strategies for prevention, education, and wound product selection.

We will then work with our team of advisors, educators and real-world experts to design your program.

3.  Delivery and assessment

Our instructors will deliver your customized program, in your desired location and format, in a way that engages your audience fully in the learning process to ensure they get the specific skills and knowledge they need to excel. We will follow-up with you through the assessment process to ensure that your expectations were met and to provide opportunities for reflection and feedback.
