Biography

Dr. David Kennedy, BDS, MSD, FRCD(C), is Co-Clinic Director for Graduate Orthodontics at the University of British Columbia (UBC), where he is a Clinical Professor.  He is dually trained as a Pediatric Dentist and an Orthodontist with Masters degrees in both specialties. He is dually Boarded in both Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics and the first Canadian to receive Fellowship in more than 1 specialty. He has served as a Royal College of Dentists of Canada examiner for many years and is a Past President. He has published over 50 articles, chapters or Textbooks. He has lectured worldwide, mainly on Early Treatment and Treatment Outcomes. His lectures have received excellent evaluations and he has been given teaching awards for 5 consecutive years at UBC.
