Course description
During the second and first century BC, Rome expanded aggressively eastward and westward, bringing an array of peoples and cultures into its growing empire. These new Roman provincial communities became a vibrant tapestry of social and cultural diversity, offering archaeologists unique insights into social, economic, and cultural practices.
Through these traces, we can uncover daily practices and understand how objects were made, exchanged, used, or consumed over time.
