The Human Side of Collaborative Health Care in BC
Part of:
UVic on the Peninsula
Course description
Join us for a two-hour talk exploring how health professionals in BC, such as clinical psychologists and medical doctors, are being trained to deliver evidence-based, patient-centred, and team-based care.
We’ll look at how multidisciplinary trainees and fully licensed professionals are working together with patients, caregivers and families across primary, community and specialty settings to provide and improve care.
You’ll come away with a clearer understanding of the BC public health system across disciplines and specialty areas, and what collaborative, integrated healthcare can look like in training, research and practice.
