Beginning this July, students in our 4-week English for Global Communication (EGC) program will be able to enjoy an additional two weeks of online learning (10 hours / week) through a specialized series of "Cultural Discovery" classes.  

Offering 10 hours per week, Cultural Discovery will allow students to strengthen their speaking skills through two additional weeks of study before or after their 4-week EGC program. Classes will be offered in two levels (Pre-Intermediate and Advanced), with participants attending five hours of synchronous (live) learning plus five hours of guided asynchronous course work per week. This program will build confidence in all four skill levels as participants explore specialized themes according to their language level. The theme for Pre-Intermediate students will be "Cultures and Countries" and Advanced students will focus on "Intercultural Communication and Globalization." Outside of classes, students will also be welcome to attend weekly Social Connect activities.

All participants will receive a Record of Grade and will be eligible to receive a Certificate of Participation reflecting their additional studies.
