ELC Charity Project Raises $1100 for Uganda!

We're very proud to announce that after an amazing fundraising effort earlier this year by students from our 12-Week Intensive program, a total of $1100 was raised for “PODA” (Partnerships for Opportunity Development Association), a local organization which supports sustainability and educational projects in Uganda. 

ELC students and their PODA Charity Project are currently featured on PODA blog.  As founders Peter and Natalie Hunt commented, "It is impressive that while studying in Canada they are also helping to support students in rural Uganda." Well done, everyone!

The ELC Charity Project has been a favourite ELC class activity (and incredibly successful fundraiser) since 2002.
