ELC Marketing Manager, SiHeng Tang, was recently honoured to participate in an educational mission to Vietnam with UVic President Jamie Cassels. The ELC and UVic have strong relationships in Vietnam, and this trip showed a clear commitment to further exploring and engaging in educational opportunities there. SiHeng’s visit to Vietnam was the perfect follow up to another Vietnamese success: in September we welcomed the first ever recipient of the UVic Pathways entrance scholarship, Ms. Phuong Duong, who is studying in the Social Sciences stream of the UVic Pathways Program. Phuong is an inspiring student with a bright future ahead of her at UVic and beyond!
