Exhale: Discovering the Great Mystery
COURSE
Course description
In this course, we’re going to be exploring family medicine together and engaging with the healing power of stories. We will practice giving back what we have gathered and learned from in our stories. The theme of “Exhale” defines the spring’s blossoming, blooming and sending forth. It’s a time and theme of reaching, exploring and venturing out into the world to repair and heal. The course will include lectures, readings, workshops, interviews and guest speakers as we journey together through topics of honouring your ancestors and family members, community and self-healing, giving back, life lessons, reclaiming family recipes, and reviving ceremony among family. We will explore the power of storytelling in its many shapes and sounds. Together we will learn from and support each other in the circle on this journey to celebrate the Great Mystery. As non-credit registrants, you will join the online lectures of this credit class and have access to the online materials and activities, but will not submit assignments or receive grades.
