The Red Planet
COURSE
Course description
For millennia, Mars has been an object of fascination and curiosity. As our nearest and most earth-like neighbour, it holds the highest potential for the discovery of life, and perhaps future colonization by humans. This seemingly “dead planet” holds many secrets that are even now being explored, and new discoveries made. This course will cover the exploration of Mars, now and in the future; the formation, geology, climate and landscape of Mars; and the search for water and life on this fascinating planet.
