Course description

Some of the most massive, cohesive structures in the universe are galaxy groups and clusters. These systems are composed of stars, gas, and ten to thousands of individual galaxies.

In this course, we'll explore what leads astronomers to uncover invaluable information about galaxies and the nature of our universe by investigating questions such as, "how did galaxy groups and clusters form?" or "where did the gas come from for star formation?"
