Course description

Go on a journey through the most remote and mysterious parts of our planet’s oceans. This course explores unique deep sea environments such as hydrothermal vents, abyssal plains and undersea trenches, uncovering the extraordinary life forms and geological features found at extreme depths. Through interactive discussions and visual explorations, you will gain insights into the science behind deep sea ecosystems, the technology used to explore these largely uncharted waters, and the resources they hold for humanity.
