Want to familiarize yourself with basic knowledge of cloud services and how those services are provided with Azure? This course will provide you with the ability to demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of cloud concepts, Azure services, workloads, security, privacy, pricing, and support. The course material will prepare you to write the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) exam.
This online course will guide you at your own pace through learning modules, while accessing materials directly relevant to the Microsoft certification exam.
This program is made possible in cooperation with RBC’s Future Launch and Microsoft Canada’s Coast-to-Coast initiatives. Free certification training is offered to empower Canadians for the jobs of tomorrow through practical skills certification training.

Certification
All registrants will receive a free voucher to complete the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals exam through Certiport, which can be written from home or at a physical testing center. Once passed, this globally recognized certification can be used on your CV, LinkedIn or online badge to immediately identify your expertise to others.

This course is for technology professionals and those who want to demonstrate foundational knowledge of cloud concepts and Microsoft Azure. These professionals can describe Azure architectural components and Azure services, such as computer, networking and storage. They can also describe features and tools to secure, govern and administer Azure.
Prerequisites
Registrants should have experience working with an area of information technology, such as infrastructure management, database management or software development.
