Audrey Yap is an associate professor of Philosophy at UVic, and is grateful for the chance to live and work on unceded Lekwungen territory. She works mainly in social philosophy but regularly teaches on many different topics, including logic, the history of philosophy, and feminist philosophy. Some of the things that inform her teaching are the need to make education accessible to people from a wide range of backgrounds and the creation of educational spaces where people can learn from each other. She has been the Faculty Advisor for Intercultural Studies and Practice since 2019.
