Course description

Victoria is the bird capital of Canada with over 400 recorded species. Not surprisingly, birding in this area is popular and rewarding, but identifying all of these birds can be daunting for beginners. This course introduces the tools and observation skills needed for successful birding. By the end of the class, you will be able to recognize many of the more common birds found in this area, and you will have learned basic skills for taking your birding to the next level.
