Remembering Kim Carver

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Kim Carver, a beloved Program Assistant in the Business Management Programs. Kim went on medical leave in May of 2022, with every intention of returning to her position in the near future. Unfortunately, Kim’s cancer had other plans and she passed away on April 7th surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Kim joined the Division in May of 2014 as a part time program assistant in the business area before moving to work in the adult education portfolio and then back again in business. She was a steadfast member of the division, with a strong work ethic, a fabulous wit and a real gift for story telling.

The university flag was lowered to mark her birthday on May 4. A celebration of life will be arranged at a later date.

For those wishing to memorialize Kim, a donation to the SPCA, a youth serving social service agency or food security initiative of your choice would be most appropriate.
