Program description

English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) is a practical program that provides high-quality skills training for instructors who teach subject content in English in their home countries.

Participants will learn from experts in the field of education, applied linguistics, CLIL and internationalization. This program offers a stimulating, interactive teaching and learning environment. Education professionals will develop their abilities through a variety of teaching methodologies, curriculum-planning strategies and communicative or experiential classroom techniques. One of the goals of this program is to enable our teachers to plan, design and develop effective lessons in English.

The EMI program is designed to fit the goals, interests and needs of the participants. This includes:

formal classroom instruction (approximately 60 hours)
professional development workshops and lectures
various socio-cultural events
a safe and respectful English immersion context for the enhancement of language, cultural intelligence and educational leadership skills
