On May 5, the English Language Centre (ELC) welcomed Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of the Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), for an official visit to the University of Victoria (UVic) that marked the beginning of an exciting international collaboration.

The visit featured a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony to announce, and formalize, the new professional training initiative between the ELC and RMUTP. In addition to the signing, the President and RMUTP delegation toured the Continuing Studies building, explored the campus, and met with faculty and UVic senior leadership.

This project promotes professional skills development, including online learning and intensive training at the University of Victoria.

"We’re excited to be partnering with RMUTP and we look forward to working together to support educators in the promotion of global education," says Dr. Seppy Masoodi, ELC director.
