UVic Chorus

Course description

Join the School of Music choral ensemble, comprised of up to 150 singers, along with music majors, non-music majors and other members of the Victoria community. The UVic Chorus performs significant works from the classical canon as well as contemporary and newly commissioned works. In recent years, the Chorus has performed Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, Mozart's Great Mass in C minor, Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, Handel's Utrecht Te Deum, and Sunrise Mass by Ola Gjeilo. The Chorus performs in the all-UVic Choirs Annual Winter Concert at Christ Church Cathedral in the fall term and with the UVic Orchestra in the spring in the Farquhar Auditorium. No audition is required.
