Course description

In this studio course, you will address drawing fundamentals and develop an understanding of line and form. Classes will focus on the development of observational drawing while implementing the ideas of gesture, contour and positive and negative space. This course will focus on still lifes and the use of a model for drawing assignments. Students will use both graphite and charcoal as drawing mediums. This class is appropriate for those with a wide range of drawing experience, and beginners are welcome.
