Course description

Learn about time-based art and experimental film, including an overview of historical and emerging aspects of moving image.

Classes will be structured through screenings, discussions and learning the process of creating an experimental film or video through hands-on exercises. Learn about artist organizations, collectives and festivals who support this art form from a strong Canadian perspective.

Create your own works of art by applying some of the theory and practice learned in class.
