Since the 1980s, global artists, designers and architects have used their work to convey messages about who they are, where they come from, and which issues are impacting their communities. In this course, we will discuss contemporary art around the world, touching on how technology, migration, the environment, and international political and economic shifts have created new forms and new audiences.
