Nurturing a Conservation Ethic
COURSE
Course description
A BC Park Ranger once told me, "people need to know and understand nature before they can care about it, and they won't fight to protect what they do not love." Societies today are increasingly disconnected from nature and plugged into technology. What does this disconnect mean for conservation in British Columbia? Learn about work happening on Galiano Island and in Greater Victoria to encourage community stewardship and mentor environmental stewards of the future and get inspired to nurture a conservation ethic in your community.
