DELF B2

This examination is suitable for education professionals, French Immersion teachers, and adult learners in British Columbia who require formal proof of advanced French language ability for professional or academic purposes.

The DELF B2 assesses a candidate’s ability to use French independently and effectively, including defending opinions, developing arguments, and participating fluently in complex professional or social discussions.

Written tests (Listening comprehension, reading comprehension, written production)

• Paper‑based
• Start time: 9 am sharp

Duration

• Written test: 2 hour 30 minutes (9:00–11:30 am)
• Oral test: Individual oral interviews are typically scheduled in the afternoon, following the written tests. Exact timings are communicated during the week prior to the test session.

Location

• Exam locations vary by session. Room and location details will be emailed to candidates one week before the examination session.

Refund policy

Requests to withdraw must be received by the posted deadline. Any request to withdraw received before June 11 will be issued a full refund. No refunds will be issued after this date.
