About the Teen Campus Experience program

The Teen Campus Experience program is for students aged 15 to 17 who want to improve their English in a supportive, university environment. Students will grow more confident speaking with others, learn about Canadian culture, and enjoy the summer in Victoria, British Columbia.

During the program, students take classes and live on the University of Victoria campus. This gives them a chance to try university life through hands-on learning, cultural events and social activities. Each morning, the English classes are taught by skilled teachers. Students will also take part in projects, discussions and talks. Throughout the program, students become part of the UVic community and get to know life at a well-known Canadian university.

In class, workshop topics may include sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), business, filmmaking, wellness and coding. After class, students can enjoy supervised activities and trips such as visits to Victoria's historic downtown, Chinatown, the Royal BC Museum and local shopping centres.
