Course description

This 'bootcamp' style workshop is designed to prepare students to write the IELTS exam. Areas of practice will cover the Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking sections of the exam, and students will learn strategies and insight to the exam to give them the best chance at success. 

Course format

Classes take place over three consecutive Saturdays in November. Classes will run in person from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm with a one-hour lunch break.

Who should take this course?

This learning series is open to anyone and may be especially beneficial for:

  • ELPI students who would like to improve in this area or prepare for IELTS 
  • Business students who would like to prepare for IELTS

Course details

  • Dates: November 7 – 21, 2026
  • Levels: Intermediate and Advanced
  • Content focus: IELTS Test preparation
  • Hours: 15 hours total (5 hours per week)
  • Class schedule: November 7, 14, and 21. 9:00 am - 3:00 pm with a one-hour lunch break.
  • Tuition: $250 CAD
  • Refund policy: Course withdrawal must occur prior to course start date to receive a refund less a $25 administration fee. Fees are non-refundable after the course start date.
  • Registration deadline: October 30, 2026
  • Certificate: Certificate of Completion 
  • Minimum enrolment: This course will run subject to minimum enrolment.
