Course description

Are you a keen reader of fantasy novels? Would you love to find out how authors create their compelling worlds? What are the secrets to writing fantasy that pulls the reader in and doesn’t let go? For inspiration we’ll look to excerpts from fantasy fiction, and we’ll use writing prompts to prime our imaginations. We’ll talk about the vital role of world-building, how to develop believable characters, and the importance of tension in creating your own fantastic stories.

No writing experience necessary.
