Course description

Always wanted to write a poem, but never known where to start? Written a handful, but unsure where to go next? Each week we will write, read and discuss contemporary poetry, breaking poems down to their bones to understand the basics of sound and image, line and metaphor. Using a community-based, artist-driven workshop model we will build-up and support each other’s writing through meaningful feedback and conversation. Dip a toe into the mystic, mysterious world of poetry.
