More Mille-Feuille: Writing Layered Memoir Part 2

Course description

In this workshop—intended for those who have taken Mille-Feuille 1 or those who are experienced with writing memoirs and personal essays—we’ll begin by reviewing ideas and invitations from the first course. We’ll brainstorm possible pairings of subject matter and form, and you will begin a draft of your proposed project in class. After two weeks, we’ll return to the classroom to workshop these drafts and discuss revision and possible venues for publication.
