Biography

Dr. Budd Hall is a Professor of Community Development at the University of Victoria. He has been working in the field of community-based participatory research for over 40 years and developed his practice in Tanzania in the early 1970s. Budd is the founding director of the University of Victoria’s Office of Community Based Research, a former Dean of the Faculty of Education and currently shares the UNESCO Chair Community Based Research and Social Responsibility in Higher Education with Rajesh Tandon.
