2018 External Review

As part of best quality assurance practices, our English Language Centre recently took part in an external academic review of our English as an Additional Language Programs. The review was conducted by an expert panel of university educators/administrators: Kevin Callahan (McGill), Andrew Scales (UBC) and Li-Shih Huang (UVic).

The review included interview sessions with staff members, teachers and students. The aim was to gather a diverse set of views on our current strengths as well as areas where we can continue to improve our services.

Participating in a review of this nature demonstrates our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality in every aspect of our programs. By seeking outside perspectives on our offerings, we can ensure the best experience for our students. We look forward to receiving the panel’s report / recommendations on our EAL programming later this spring.
