Course description
Words ending in "-ology" refer to a branch of learning, or the study of a particular subject, and "ologists" are people studying or learning about an "-ology". Some examples to stimulate thinking: balneology (baths), campanology (bells), cereology (crop circles), deltiology (postcards), ferroequinology (locomotives), hodology (pathways), irenology (peace), ludology (games), etc. You will choose an "-ology" or an "-ologist" and explain its history and significance in a presentation to the group. We will have time for questions and discussion in a respectful, encouraging and friendly atmosphere.
