Transformative Climate Action

CERTIFICATE

Collaboratively develop, lead and support social and political strategies necessary to mobilize climate action across diverse sectors and scales. Learners will develop the skills to engage effectively with the social and political challenges of developing strategies for mitigating and adapting to climate change.

Mapping with Drones

MICRO-CREDENTIAL: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CERTIFICATE

Develop the skills needed to perform small drone-based data collection for creating digital 3D mapping outputs. Learners will use drone flight plans to create maps and engineer photos to create sub-centimetre accurate digital maps. Topics covered in the program include a review of photogrammetry, site selection, the Canadian drone regulatory process, mission planning, structure-from-motion (SfM) data processing, RTK ground control survey, accuracy assessment, and spatial analysis of acquired datasets.

MICRO-CREDENTIAL: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CERTIFICATE

The Advanced Business Intelligence and Data Analytics micro-credential will build on the foundational learning in BIDA 301: Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Fundamentals and BIDA 302: Data Analytics Coding Fundamentals (or equivalent, for learners coming in to the program with prior analytics and coding experience), and will allow students to progress to higher-level in-demand data analysis, visualization and modelling skills.
