Victoria – Vancouver – Frankfurt
Depart Victoria this afternoon for Vancouver, where we transfer to our overnight flight to Frankfurt.
Frankfurt – Madrid
We arrive in Frankfurt and transfer to our flight to Madrid. Arriving mid-afternoon, we transfer by coach to our centrally-located hotel. Time to settled into your room until our welcome dinner this evening, within easy walking distance of our hotel. Four nights in Madrid. (D)
Guided tour this morning, including a panoramic tour of old and modern parts of the city, the Royal Palace and entrance to the Prado. Return to hotel by coach, or for those who wish, remain at el Prado and make your own way back. Rest of day at leisure. (B)
Madrid – Segovia– Madrid
Full-day guided tour to Segovia including visits to the Roman Aqueduct, the Cathedral in the Plaza Mayor, and the Alcăzar (including entrance), fortress and home to various Spanish monarchs. We will have lunch at La Postal, a lovely restaurant with beautiful views of Segovia, followed by a guided tour to La Granja Palace, summer residence of the Bourbon Kings. Return to Madrid late afternoon. (B/L)

Madrid – Córdoba – Seville
We depart Madrid this morning for Córdoba, stopping along the way in Consuegra to view the windmills overlooking La Mancha (of Don Quixote fame). When we arrive in Cordoba, there will be time for a quick lunch, followed by a visit to the Roman ruins and entrance to the beautiful Mezquita Cathedral. We continue to Seville, where we spend the next three nights. Dinner tonight at a local restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. (B/D)
Half-day guided city tour including entrance to the Cathedral and Giralda. Rest of day at leisure. (B)
After breakfast, we have a guided tour of the Alcázar. The afternoon is free. This evening, we are treated to dinner and flamenco show (tablao). (B/D)
Seville – Jerez – Algeciras
Today we depart Seville, stopping in Jerez to attend a show at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. Afterward we will have lunch and visit a bodega for a tour and sherry tasting. We carry on to Algeciras for overnight. (B)
Algeciras – Gibraltar – Málaga
Depart Algeciras for Gibraltar. On arrival we have a guided tour, including Europa Point, The Pillars of Hercules, St. Michaels Caves, Top of the Rock (stop at upper Apes Den), Great Siege Tunnels and the Moorish Castle. From there, we continue to Málaga for a two-night stay. (B)

Málaga – Nerja – Granada
Late morning departure from Málaga for Granada, stopping in Nerja for lunch at a seaside café. Two nights in Granada. Dinner this evening at a local restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. (B/L/D)
Today we have a guided city tour including El Albaicin, the old Moorish quarter of the city, the famous Alhambra, and Generalife Gardens. Rest of day free. (B)
Granada – Valencia
Depart Granada this morning for Valencia, stopping en route for lunch on your own. Two nights in Valencia. (B)
Guided tour of the main sights including entrance to the City of Arts & Sciences, a huge futuristic educational complex, and La Lonja de la Seda, one of the most stunning and best preserved examples of Late Gothic architecture in all of Europe. Rest of day at leisure. (B)
Valencia – Barcelona
After breakfast, we transfer from Valencia to Barcelona. Four nights in Barcelona. Dinner at a local restaurant this evening. (B/D)
This morning we have a guided city art and architecture tour, including the Cathedral and the Fundació Juan Miró. Afterward we enjoy a tapas lunch, followed by a visit to the Sagrada Familia. (B/L)
Barcelona – Giron – Figueres – Barcelona
Today we have a guided excursion to Figueres, the home town of Salvador Dalí. On our way, we will stop in the historic city of Girona, where we will have a guided walking tour of the old city and Jewish Quarter. There will also be time for lunch on your own before we continue to Figueres and our guided tour of the Dali Theatre-Museum, built on the remains of the former Municipal Theatre of Figueres, and conceived and designed by the artist. Barcelona – Munich – Vancouver – Victoria
Transfer to airport this morning for our return flights to Victoria. (B)
