This is the third level of our five-level French Language Diploma Program, focusing on all four basic language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Classes meet once weekly for three hours, for two 13-week semesters. Entrance at midpoint in January is possible if your initial level is sufficient. Small classes (maximum 18) enhance individual participation. Classes feature a balance of structural and communicative activities and an important cultural content to optimize learning.
This course will focus on all the structures, vocabulary and pronunciation necessary to perform tasks such as:
speak about your daily activities
using reflexive verbs speak about your health and physical activities give advice, suggestions and orders
express various sentiments and emotions express tastes and preferences
articulate events and circumstances in the past using imparfait and passé composé
The cultural content will focus on such themes as sports, fashion, health and the culture of various parts of the Francophone world.

Successful completion of FLDP200 if entering in September or of the first term of FLDP300 if entering in January.

A textbook (Invitation au monde francophone) is mandatory. The same textbook is used for levels 100, 200 and 300.

A full refund will be provided if you withdraw from the course prior to the start date. A refund, less a $50 administrative fee, will be issued if you withdraw during the first two weeks from the start date. No refunds after two weeks. Depending on your method of payment, a refund will be either mailed to you or credited to your credit card.
