COURSE
Course description
This course will focus on the neuroscience of how we age. Specifically, the course will consist of six lectures focused on:
- the development of the brain
- how the brain ages
- motor deficits with age
- Dementia
- Parkinsons
- ALS.
Each two hour session will consist of a 90 minute traditional lecture and a 30 minute activity and/or question and answer period. Please note this course is focused on age-related changes in the brain and will not cover age-related changes in physiology (i.e., musculature).
