Course description
Since 1912, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s (CFIA) Sidney Centre for Plant Health (CPH) has been part of the community. Learn about the history of site and work that occurs including pathogen testing of imported tree fruits and grapevines, and plant-related research including identifying and characterizing new viruses and virus-like diseases. Understand the reasons behind the new construction on site, and how it will help to advance plant science, protect Canada’s plant resources and grow the agriculture and agri-food sector.
