Course description
Imagine the world filled with loving kindness, with no fighting, violence, hostility or prejudice. Changing the world starts with changing ourselves. Start your journey to loving kindness by becoming familiar with the mind of equanimity—a warm and friendly feeling towards all living beings. Most of us have some people we hold close and dear, some we dislike, and some we feel indifferent about. As a result, our mind is like a pendulum that swings back and forth between feelings of attachment and aversion. In this course, we'll focus on developing the experience of equanimity. Each session will include a lecture, question period and guided contemplation.
